20/20 SeedSense gives you one- touch automation

Select an operating mode that fits your field or area:

  • Light - gives you an extra light footprint for easily compactable soils or wet soils.
  • Medium - is the primary setting for most conditions and will be the default setting.
  • Heavy - is for areas where excessive clods, rocks or speed require some extra holding power.
  • Manual Control - allows you to shift from automatic mode and change down force manually from the 20/20 SeedSense display.

NOW, you can measure it AND control it.

Partner the 20/20 SeedSense® monitor with the new 20/20 AirForce to deliver the right down force for each soil type and planting condition.

20/20 SeedSense uses strain-gauge equipped Smart Pins20/20 SeedSense uses strain-gauge equipped Smart Pins to measure the weight of the row unit – including the row unit weight, the spring/airbag down force, and the seed/insecticide load.

It also senses the amount of time the gauge wheels are carrying weight, because if there is no weight on the gauge wheels the row unit can float out of the ground and lose depth control. Using weight and ground contact, the computer calculates the ideal weight for that specific soil type, tillage condition, and moisture level.

20/20 AirForce increases or decreases the down force on the row unit. 20/20 AirForce increases or decreases the down force on the row unit. Airbags or springs deliver a constant level of down force.

Fast reacting up lift airbags constantly regulate the weight on the row unit. This push/pull reaction allows the system to actively manage your planter’s footprint -- automatically.
