Conference Updates

  • Sorry, our conference is full, call to check on our waiting list.

We also host conferences and meetings where we can spend up to 8 hours demonstrating the agronomic improvements that come from improved spacing, depth and seed environment.

New Ideas New Tools New Research. New ways to grow more corn.

You’re invited to the 2008 Precision Planting Winter Conference held January 8th, 9th, 10th and 11th at our offices in Tremont, Illinois.

In just three weeks, we will be hosting our biggest and best conference ever.  We are putting the final touches on some new demonstrations that will give you new insight in to the way that planters work . . . or don’t work.  And new ways to trick those planters into even better performance.

What will you see and do at this year’s conference?

  • See the impact of excessive down pressure on seedling emergence and yield
  • See how you can detect planter errors while they are happening and correct them before they cost you a penny
  • See how little difference in seed release dramatically affects seed spacing
  • Tear apart a planter to find the hidden problems that limit maximum yield
  • See how to add a “speedometer” to your cab that tells you when it’s OK to speed up while maintaining perfect placement
  • See how saturated cold germ scores can help you manage planting dates and predict final ear count
  • And see what your fellow corn growers from across the country are doing to capture more income from this increasingly valuable commodity

The daylong conference will be repeated each of the four days – select the day that fits your schedule.  This free conference “sells out” quickly.  So check your calendar, call your neighbors and call us soon to reserve your seats.  The conference starts promptly at 7:45 and will end at 3:15.  A list of area hotels is included on the back of this letter.

This meeting will help you get focused on the upcoming planting season.  At $3.50 corn and high input costs, it is critical that every planter pass is a perfect pass.  Come to Tremont to learn how.
